Blue Ribbon is Arkansas'
oldest full-service fly shop (and so much more) located in
Mountain Home, Arkansas, just minutes from the legendary White River
and Norfork Tailwater. These dynamic fisheries are located
below two huge dams that supply the trout with cold, clean,
nutrient-rich water year-round. Four species of trout (brook,
brow, cutthroat, rainbow) grow extremely fast to sizes that often
approach state and world record class. Water levels can change
quickly, but we have the knowledge to not only adapt to water
fluctuations, but to thrive on them. Don’t let anyone ever
tell you that our fish can only be caught when the water is
low. We pride ourselves on teaching techniques and supplying
flies that work through on all water
conditions.
Blue Ribbon Fly Shop is
the lower White & Norfork River’s largest and longest-running
fly fishing operation and we offer a huge selection of locally-tied
flies. We also operate a coffee shop, Anglers Coffee
Cafe, connected to the fly shop that can arrange for a
spectacular river lunch or just a strong cappuccino to get you going
in the morning. The coffee shop is a cozy place to hang out,
tie a few flies, maybe read a book or magazine, and to just talk
fishing.
