Where is Mountain Home Arkansas? We are located in North Central Arkansas, only 20 miles south of the Missouri State line. Our town is small by big city standards, (population aprox. 12,000 per 2012 census) but Baxter Regional Hospital and the ASU, Arkansas State University, Mountain Home Campus is located in the heart of town. Baxter County Arkansas is the central hub of the area with towns of Cotter, Henderson, Bull Shoals, Lakeview, Flippin, Gamaliel, Yellville, Gassville and Norfork offer a short drive to shopping, medical, entertainment, recreation and fine schools in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
